Your cars fixed many things adi, the FC still suck?

Added on November 7, 2009, 1:55 pmWao, just get know about this kind of break-in method...before that i thought it's just rumour...anyway, my golden chance for break-in is far over adi...

Anyway yesterday just tried to speed my car at 160km/h...the meter is about 5.5k RPM...excited but scary like hell...my heart beating so fast after i slow down to 80km/h...i swear i won't try that for 2nd time...

some thing haven fix yet.. nid 2 wait next time 1k service oni fix for me.. like readjust/change valve,iafm, retuning n checkup..
SC told me hav 2 wait at least 4hours o more than tat..
so i plan 2 fix it after my final exam..

thx.. coz i ask the reception there the IAFM change whole unit izit.. she replied jus change the valve..

oh my,used wrong acc,swt,btw,if is iafm,then is change the rod,change to the shorter1,if is valve,i tink is cylinder head ad,coz mine also is valve,then change cylinder head,lol,hope i am wrong,lol

i changed my pushrod only...not whole iafm unit...but still running good..

receptionist? kekeke, sometimes they know nothing...

talk straight to the mechanic easier...

but fc-wise still the same, no improvement

o ya.. i gt talk to the mechanic.. he said engine part nid 2 repair oni.. n i din ask more coz he seems bz n he is good.. he taught me diy the Aircond water flowout paip.. make it longer 2 prevent rust..

I think for the latest IAFM repair, they will just change pushrod rather than whole unit, rite?

yeah...thats what i heard for the sc manager. saw them modifying the rod.

i want to make up my saga blm abit. but i donno what to do first. which car shop is good for me? near the putrajaya or at seremban.

Ya, this is what the SC mechanic told me before also...he said over length push rod is the culprit, will spoil also even change to new unit for 10 times...but what i worry is not all SC will do the modify job, some of them will change the new one...

its a new rod. and they modify the new rod then put inside my car. the sc guy said, they cannot guaranteed you how long it will last. but it solves the 'tak' sounds. and still running good in my car. since 20k service. now. 26k already.

no guarantee but if rosak still can claim for warranty rite

the warranty is 1year o 5years?

5 years or 175000KM whatever come first, only if you service at Proton SC in that period.

mine is 1st batch
warranty is 2 years
next year expired already
