Do you guys have any problem with your reverse sensor ? Mine when put gear to "R" sometimes the sensor is already beeping even though there is nothing behind the car ?

about the reverse sensor having 'beeping' even theres no objects blocking behind of your SAGA. its a part-faulty. wink.gif
when i took my SAGA SE on my first day at showroom, mine happened like that. so on my first day of my NEW CAR COLLECTION, i have to travel straight to proton service center. like what 'YoungMan' said, the foreman said there's some dust particles, after wiping and adjust a lil here and there of the wirings, its works fine for that day, but when the day rains and it gets wet, the 'beeping' started again. so i went back to proton service center again the next day, they advice me to use a dry cloth to wipe everytime the reverse sensor kena water, and so i questioned them back, "what's the use of having a reverse sensor that's not even water-proof", only he insist to change the part for me from the warranty claim, but added, have to wait, "agak2 how long?", he replied not sure, will contact again once arrived.
So after a month long waiting, still no calls from the service center, so i took initiative to call them. and they said, "if you want the stock fast u should go to the HQ service center located at kesas." and i complained how can that be when they have the stock they wont send to the wakil service center. and the SA added, "you know i know everyone knows proton is like that, and especially when you're getting the cheapest car in town, you know the quality serves how much, please bear with it." it was so unprofessional of him talking that way and i just went to the HQ service center without thinking of goin back to the service center ever again. there, it took me 1 day of installation of the new reverse sensor and 1 day of paint spray for reverse sensor.

overall, im not a happy proton customer. mad.gif

My SC here quite OK woh...willing to do the major overhaul for me...last time gear knob shaking like hell...went for a change....under warranty.
But i think reverse sensor must be water proof la...how can say must wipe off the water/dust each time...ridiculous la..!!

if not mistaken campro power comes in > 4k rpm so i guess that's why noise and power also increase.

Hi BLM experts tongue.gif

Just wanna ask something here. I saw the BLM service manual stating service intervals is at every 10K. Should I follow the manual or still go for every 5K service?
Which to follow? rclxub.gif

NOTE: I know. My car haven't even reach 1K service yet but curios about the subsequent ones. Don flame me la. notworthy.gif

i managed to get on the wheels of the friend's 1.6 blm taxi.
nice pick up but the cabin noise it unbearable. worst than 1.3 b-line and there is a loud noise from the underneath when driving thru potholes sweat.gif
perhaps, those blm that allocated for taxis are not 'nvh insulated' properly hmm.gif

Added on January 16, 2010, 10:59 ambtw, m-line auto that i bought for my sister was shaky at 120km/h too. send for 1st service and complaint to proton sc.
they claim a wheels balancing was done but afterwards, it's still shaky.
and during engine idle, there is a buzzing spring sound from inside the steering column which is getting noisier when going over uneven road. proton claimed the spring sound was common on all blm... dang!

anyone of you guys having the same problem?

Oh...OK. But I would prefer to go to either one of these 3 centres(USJ 7,USJ 19, SS13) as I am staying quite far away from Jalan 222. Prefer around Subang area.
