QUOTE(toocommon @ Jan 25 2010, 07:12 PM)
hi guys,

im planning to get saga blm as my first car, probably within this 2 months, got some question but i dun wan to browse thru 10 version of this topic la XD

What is the difference between M line and B line?
Does it worth to pay more for M line with what is given?

So far got many people complain here or not? heard proton car always problem(power window, light etc) XD

FC is roughly how much for auto?

Interest rate 3.3% for 7 years cantik or not?

thanks.
*
mline has 1 airbag, adjustable height for driver seat, 2 seat pockets, front speakers, foglamps, alloy rims..bline doesnt have those stuffs

well if you concern about 'safety' then 1 airbag should be alright...other accesories are not so important

my experience with my first batch blm, so far 1year plus years old...no power window problem but i have replaced my iafm trice (under warranty). small matter - car can still be driven but with anoyying 'tak-tak sound'

fc for auto, around 300km is achievable for rm50 petrol fill up.

sorry. juz now dounble confirm again with the agent, 3.3 is for 5 years, 7 years is 3.5% XD
city driving, dun wan manual ba haha
so the FC is roughly 2sen/km i heard?
driving experince good?
*
im using auto, smooth cruising and driving. the sound insulation is quite ok

but dun expect you could tail a manual blm easily...manual blm is very powerful compare to auto ones

Is it ok to revv until red line? I had been over revving my engine for sometimes. Testing which rpm the torque is the maximum. Will it spoil my engine fast?
*
dont do it often..sometimes ok..6k rpm is alright

2008 is first batch ..might have some minor 'bugs'..like power window, signal/emergency light relay etc..but still got warranty

heard there are quite improvement in the newer batch..most probably iafm in newer blm is better

personally la, i think ler..just remove the safetint..and put a better tint...if u want to upgrade..cos one day, if the first layer spoil...u have to remove both layer of tint

else i think 1 layer safetint should be ok

if 2 layers it depends la...if it become noticably dark or hard to see inside sure..kena tahan by JPJ...

very true, rm220 for front bonnet is overkill...trust me bro..

298 for 4 doors is nice offer btw..

try ask how much they will do for firewall or behind the dashboard area

hmm.gif ....meaning that noises come thru 4 doors or behind the dashboard...is it?  rclxub.gif

Has anyone diagnose where the noises r the main culprit on our BLM?

Appreciate ur input.... notworthy.gif
*
firewall soundproofing is to reduce/block the engine roaring noise coming into cabin...

yep...this part, u need bitumen at the fender inner area, around the metal part. u could try getting some bitumen liquid and paint the area...with many layers...else stick bitumen strip around it..if could buy dynamat, its better
