I am recovering from ACL injury and i did not went for surgery. I went to frequent session of acupuncture and massage.. and frequently exercise my knee muscle. Now i have no problem jogging.. or walking or bending my knee. However, i would like wanna go back to my fav basketball, so i am looking for a good Knee Guard. I found out about McDavid knee protector http://www.sportsdepot.com/basketball.html#199 online and they seem quite promising.

Anyone know where can i get them?? been asking and looking around but its all the normal LP etc lite knee guard.

is there any difference knee guard. I suspect that i may have injury my ligament and have trouble running. Please recommend which guard is better and how to buy them

if you tore you ACL, is best to go for knee reconstruction.

Actually I'm not that sure. I only have the pain while running. I read somewhere if it is a torn ligament, I should be feeling pain even when I'm not running. Any clinics you know that i can have this check out?

shocklimit can u share,where you bought those McDavid 425R knee brace?im interested to get a pair for prevention purposes while playing in them during basketball matches?would that be suitable?

Hey dude, i know where to get this. Its sole purpose is to prevent any possible injuries or to prevent any further injuries for any kind of sports that aggressively push our joints to the extremes and sometimes beyond its initial designed purpose. There are lotsa basketball players whom uses this and you are spot on in terms of the suitability.

alot of these supports, are not available here is general, locally available good brand is Oppo, its a UK based brand.

Sports clinic and medical center do carry them as well.

Bought the 419R Multi Action Knee Strap from ProteggaSports last week. Very nice and helpful.
