It can play NTSC-J games. That's Japanese region games.

Can play [PAL] games? I tried one the other time and it can play. Well, I have a mod chip actually....

Well, mod chips are used to bypass regions. So it should be fine. But, be wary of newer games. I'm not sure how the modded community works anymore though. huhu.
