Hello all,

I am interested in buying front speakers for a home theatre system when I visit KL next month

I want small front speakers similar to the size of Bose Jewel Cube speakers. However, I dont like Bose speakers but I do like the size of the speakers.

Can you please tell me any other brands that have small front speakers and where in KL i can get them? I will be staying in the Bukit Bintang area in KL.

My budget is between RM 600 to RM 1000.

Thanks.

2.0 system friends.

sub will buy from my country.

thanks.

Added on October 17, 2009, 6:44 pmI will use the speakers for watching movies only

the Aego M looks like its made for music.

will expand my home theatre to 5.1 in a few months. but for now, I want to start off with a good pair of small 2.0 front speakers.

I'm not sure you can buy 2 small speakers - most satellite-sized speakers come in a set (5.1 or 2.1 like Aego M)

see if you can get a pair of Paradigm Cinema 70s they are about twice the height of a Bose cube and slightly wider

it's call Orb Audio

check www.orbaudio.com for details

I am using 4 of them as my surrounds speakers..big sound although a bit weak in Bass but what to expect with such small speaker sweat.gif

for 2 pieces - USD239 b4 shipping & tax.

ask them to declare as computer parts then no need tax.

Well, I got PM from him about Wharfy 9.1. I think he would like it. Honestly, 9.1 is one hack of a budget speaker. I love mine. At 1st it looks big, but after a while now..... it doesnt. I get used to it already.

I'm using 9.1 as stereo, 9.cs as center, DFS-18 for surround, and WH-210 Sub.

For movies, I tested movies like X Men, U571, Lord Of The Rings. And it sound great even when I drive really loud. The dynamic is really depending on my amp. Yamaha use to me more musical. So, I love concert etc. So, I like that.

So, the result is good for me. Also, the woofer is made of kevlar known to be strong and punchy. But I would suggest something from 5 inch and above woofer for the stereo and center speaker. Unless u willing to pay more for those so call new technology that can performed better than a 5in. Dont get confuse, this is the stereo woofer, not the sub-woofer im talkin about.

and speakers good for home theatre may not be good for music
