iPhone is a good device but it's really annoying how Apple has crippled the full extent of it's use by imposing restrictions on developers, things like disabled internet tethering, restricted application data file access, forced synced-image downgrading.

Having a credible alternative like Android will definitely discourage Apple to continue to behave like the monopolistic arrogant bastards they have been behaving like so far.

Read somewhere Steve Ballmer finally admitted mistakes were made with regards to the development of Windows Mobile, while everyone had embraced touch screens, they still forged ahead with stylus, leaving the task of creating attractive user interface to third parties, like HTC's touch UI. Top Management who was handling Windows Mobile was sacked, but honestly speaking Steve Ballmer should be the one to get the sack. He's incompetent. The only thing he's good at is in expressing enthusiasm.
