i like them both very much,and its quite difficult to rate them as i always rotate between the two.

Atrios low bass imo is fenomenal,mid a bit flat and high is better control than PR2.*no sibilant
to have a more balance sound,i feel that using tips with wider opening does help on the mids n highs.*more forward.

PR2 doesn't go as low but produce gud thumping bass nevertheless and the mid and high is clear n crispy.(having said that am still looking for suitable tips to reduce the sibilance,going to the pharmacy tomorrw to buy some foam ear plug and do some mod,hopefully can reduce the sibilance.

well if u want my opinion whether it is worth to buy the Atrio @RM550,i would say no but if u own the Atrio now and would like to own the PR2@RM250,

i am a big fan for dynamic driven phones.i know am missing something here as i couldn't afford the IE8.
its a gud buy @RM250 and its gud to have u guys on the first bulk,personal impression or a mini review would be nice

I totally understand your circumstances, as with 100% other audiophiles as well imo. money ALWAYS not enough for audio (and we are not even in hi-fi yet XD). sadness.

This is by far one of the best dynamic universal I have heard (placing it alongside with IE8 and just slightly ahead of RE0) and to best them all - it only costs $59. I dare to say I even prefer it over almost dull sounding SE530 and almost on par of TF10 (only because TF10 offers better accuracy with less coloration).

I only auditioned IE8 briefly, not enough to pass done any real judgment thus I don't want to include it in any review. However, I also audition UM3X and W3 the same day (and I had my RE0 that day for comparison), and IE8 is the only one that impress me, that say a lot on how it fairs. Since I also like Eterna just a tad better than RE0, that make IE8 and Eterna two of the best dynamic IEM I ever heard. I don't want to misguide you to think that I can / have compare(d) them side by side to actually tell you how they compared with each other. If anything, recalling precise audio memory is often too inaccurate for any usefulness.

Wow, if you prefer the IE8 over the W3 and UM3X, then I'm inclined to trust your ears even more now.
