Listening through mine using my Fuze + LOD + Crap E5...

Impressions? I like em, even though not as transparent as my PR2 (after the initial 30 minutes out of the box) or is the bass as dry (it's a bit flabby and woofer-y). Soundstage width gets spanked hard by the PR2 (the PR2 is much wider by a far margin), but in terms of imaging, they seem equally competent. Though, to my ears, the Eternas have a touch more depth in terms of the perceived soundstage.

On the other hand, the Eternas have far better isolation, lol.

And yeah, the Eternas are basshead phones. That's for sure.

But overall, the Eternas are very engaging phones, out of the box. Will update with more critical impressions later after thar burn inzzorz!

One shot bulk by Fred86 a while back. Now I feel like ordering a backup pair, lol... biggrin.gif

MUCH more detailed compared to the Eternas, but as a result, a tad sibilant and fatiguing... Feel like ordering the FX500 just to see how MUCH better it is compared to the PR2 which it has a similar sound chara to... biggrin.gif

But, in the Eterna's favour, they're easily as comfortable as the PL50s IMHO, and being specifically designed for wire-over-ear use does help a LOT!

we can ask for Sony Ericsson bro help if wan get the FX500s smile.gif but from various reviews seems like PR2 slightly overpar with FX500 even... these chinese IEMs sure are crazy good for their asking price.

Reached home, drool.gif opened mine 5 hours ago...burning...burning....

Initially, built quality Good, fits OK, isolation OK, SQ not really-really-really impressed ohmy.gif ...bit muddled, roll-offs, but after a few hours on my Creative Zen...SQ and soundstage really do open out, bass not so flabby, truly for bass-heads....
will burn overnight...

Anyone knows what's the number on the white label near the L jack?
Mine show No. 2158/3000.3

After 8 hours or so, i find the mids are more controled, bass are tighten up, soundstage a bit widen and the separation more noticable. Still, this is my impression. Seriously good for rock ( try listening to one - metallica in wav format and u know what i mean). The stock earphone fits just nice eventhou my left ear feel a little pain ( ive been having this uncomfortable sensation on my left ear recently) but the isolation is great. Hoping to burn more to really pass my finale judgement.

Oh yeah, mines is 2147 3000.3

I think Eterna is quite sensitive to the source (songs), or should I say revealing? Old timer records which tend to sound bloated will results in a more cloudy and veiled Eterna ... you guys should try and see biggrin.gif

after 10 hrs of burning-in... sounded much better, but still sux listening to live. the audience claps are all muffled up, unable to create the atmosphere. and tho others said vocals' eterna's strength, its like a double edge sword... its a bit too mid-centric for me and it sounded a tad bloated!

After overnight burning, really makes a noticeable difference, more open and mids are more controllable.
Tried on a nobrand MP3 player, same track...really sux, same track on Zen, OKlah. Eterna really source dependent, can't wait for Sansa Clip+ to arrive and try Flac tracks. so far...no regrets, truly a good buy! rclxms.gif

The Sansa player is only 8GB right? Couple that with flac files and you can only get like... 30 albums in it? How do you guys live with that?

8GB itself cost RM290

8GB microSD cost RM50

32GB microSD cost - ?????

Total up is the cost smile.gif in future 32GB would be cheaper and that is the time to get the card, for the time being 16GB is more than enough~

So far for me I have 500++ songs and it havent even fill up 8GB card yet.

I do not have that much of FLAC collection~

VERY source dependant. it can be so bad if playing tracks it "doesn't like" lol. a bit disappointed. but since its not even 20hrs into burn-in, i'll reserve my final verdict first tongue.gif

I'm negotiating with a local company here in singapore to distribute FA products.
This will translate to cheaper prices - dependent on USD/EURO Forex.

However the plus point would be 1 year warranty and faster lead time.

The company will have stocks on hand so that I can post out to your guys if you're interested(almost the same price as bulk but you don't have to wait for bulk orders), and i'll offer paypal transfer for easier transaction and security.

Sorry that my first post is of a sales nature, but I'll contribute more when i get more samples from FA.
