Hi all forumers,

Just to inform here that B&W have launch a brand new series of New Media wireless product called the A7 and the A5.
Both of these device uses the latest technology of AirPlay from Apple to transmit a lossless music streaming service to your wireless speaker around the house.Attached Image

Added on September 27, 2012, 7:01 pmHi All,

This is a "did you know" session again.

Did you know Kevlar® has been Bowers & Wilkins’ cone material of choice since 1974, and with good reason? shocking.gif
Not only does it deliver a cleaner sound, it can do so to a wider group of listeners.
The distinctive yellow cones are found on almost all Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers.

Watch the video Kevlar driver video
Another "first" in the industry of loudspeakers manufacturing.
Kevlar® is also another "magic" recipe in making bullet proof vest. hmm.gif

Hi all B&W fans and owners out there,

Did you know why B&W speakers air reflex port have dimples on them?

Bowers & Wilkins’s Flowport™ minimises turbulence in the same way as a golf ball.
Dimples on the surface generate tiny eddy currents over which air can flow smoothly and, above all, silently. It’s a perfect hole.
Attached Image
Another first in the industry, and a trademark technology from Bowers and Wilkins speakers.
Initially design for the flagship 800 series, now it's even available on Zeppelin Air and other entry level products.
Watch the video on Flowport

Cheers.
Have a greay week enjoying music!

Hi All B&W speaker owners and fans out there.

Recently, Bowers and Wilkins speakers launch a newly re-designed Panorama Sound Bar, called the Panorama 2.
Attached Image
Design for people who like an all in one set up, with limited space and neatly displayed for a Hi-Fi quality sound from one device.
Featuring 3 HDMI connection input and 1 output.

The outstanding thing is, this new model features proximity-sensitive display.
Leave it alone and it fades to black. But wave your hand over the display and you can instantly control Panorama 2’s menus directly.
All these are done through the research of the famous "University of Sound" R&D facility special to Bowers and Wilkins speakers.
Do check them out at Panorama 2 page

Another great product from Bowers and Wilkins product in the market currently.
We are open for pre-booking.

For more information, please drop by our showroom in Jaya One, PJ or Pm me.
Will be glad to be a help to you.

Thanks.

At a live gig, a truly powerful, clean PA system will deliver bass with a drive and ‘punch’ that gets the blood pumping and sets the senses on fire. It’s hard to get that same excitement from a home hi-fi, but ensuring the mechanical integrity of the bass driver is essential to the pursuit. Bowers & Wilkins’ bass drivers use a ‘mushroom’ type diaphragm construction, maximising rigidity by bonding the cone, dust cap and extended voice coil bobbin into a stiffening girder-like unit.

Another technology used in the current line up of B&W loudspeakers.
you can watch the video at B&W mushroom technology

Ever wondered, why some Big brand in automotive industry doesn't have nice speakers inside them to boast?
From 2013 onwards, Bowers and Wilkins speakers would be available in Maserati cars.
Attached Image
Announced at the Paris Motor Show 2012, Bowers & Wilkins and Maserati begin a long-term partnership producing new high-end car audio systems built from the ground up and featuring in Maserati cars from 2013.

Now that is what I called listening to a wonderful growl of a Ferari's engine in Maserati Cars, while listening to awesome music inside them.
