Anybody getting Palpatines Chair? Would look good as a corporate chair, but price is 1 HT...

Ya, i'm thinking of getting them both. The pic on SSC's site was an absolute killer...

On another note, HT's is releasing Leonidas with a battle head as well! Now he can really say "THIS IS SPARTAAAAA!!!!" lol!

kind of false advertisement/promo, again by HT.. (if the instructions are true...), with the arm range as in the promo pics.

I could be wrong, but it appears to only add only one more arm motion to the torso of old muscle body. The legs are something new though..

LOL! I follow Jeff Parker way of thinking already. The box just to protect the figure, what art it comes in doesn't matter-la! Really waiting for T800 now drool.gif

Agree with you. If they used lycra, I would have considered PO, but the tight pleather limits articulation of such a dynamic character.

Well, it's never be the same class.
Anyway, if compare 12" HT Iron man figure to Hasbro Iron man figure. I'll say, you pay what you get.
Sorry, will gonna OT a bit here.

That's why I started to collect 12" figure now. just rookie though... haha laugh.gif
For me, I can't afford and forbidden by my mom to get all the HT Iron man that I want to have. cry.gif
so, I just selectively picked IMBD, WM & MTTS. sigh... so envy for those otai who could collect all of it. drool.gif
*
When I was your age, the only thing I'd ever collect from my mom would be a slap! laugh.gif

But hey, appreciate the fact that your mom is willing to part with spme cold hard $$$ for you. Personally, I think I like the hasbro versions that has been coming out lately. Some reason the hot toys IM line never quite do it for me...Of course if they come out with Pepper Potts.... drool.gif

not easy to do that when you're loving every of HT releases.

For me easy. laugh.gif I just PO what I really love. King Leo, Arnie. BW would have been on my list...But the tight pleather and the totally wrong boots really made me go look at Captain Rex instead laugh.gif

In regards to depreciation of value of the items. Keep in mind what you are buying your figures for. For your own collection or to sell? Remember, despite depreciating in value you can still use your phone. A HT is not a mobile phone. It is a high end collectable that may or may not appreciate in value.

If you're keeping for yourself, whether the figure drops in value doesn't really matter because you purchase it solely because you love it.

If you're buying for goreng, beware, not many people are going to fork out a lot of money for something that already costs a lot money! lol!

If you're talking limited versions, your chances are fairly high. But the mass produce one? Chances slim because most die hard collectors already bought theirs.

Better take care before taking the plunge buddy.

Are hot toys ironman limited items? As in, they only produce a limited quantitiy?
*
Ok, many people suspect HT marketing strategy as such...If they feel they figure might not do so well, they'll just throw in the tag "Limited Edition"! Take blade and wolverine. they both have that!

Unlike SS, HT don't tell us the edition size they'll produce. But they are not Hasblow or Pandai who will reissue like nobody's business laugh.gif So I consider ALL HT as limited editions.
