Nothing new for picture spamming for V3... kinda new in HT business.. most of my collection are transformers stuffs and star wars..
Just counting the day for DX01 and 02, now kinda tempted with military stuff after seen Quicksilve collection ![]() ![]() ![]() Pic kinda blur... taken by Nikon cam which is ridiculously hard to use for me. This post has been edited by 20thCentury: Oct 17 2009, 06:04 PM |

QUOTE(quiksilve @ Oct 19 2009, 04:35 PM) Try finding the first issue HT Superman, cause the facesculpt is more natural. Wow.. i'm impress... looks much realistic after swap the head. Great one bro!The second re-issue 2 in 1 Superman from HT came repainted to a darker asian skin tone colour. Meanwhile ...some updated pictures on my fully geared up USMC. Really worth every penny in terms of gears, quality of stitching and pouches is top notch quality, surpass HT military definitely |

Thanks for the info Quicksilve, but i dont have the experience with spray paint.. maybe will try it out in near future. Judging from the pic, the maker using plaster or styrofoam?

QUOTE(crazeoneeighteen @ Oct 24 2009, 10:48 PM) If you intend to use hardware store spray can, make sure you have a coating of plaster, otherwise it will eat into styrofoam as well. You can't spray too close distance either. Thanks for the fruitfull advice and tips bro.. The fastest way to paint realistic wall is using rag cloth/sponge by dabbing and smudging. Emulsion paint is the cheapest way to go about whereas gouche is a better option to poster colour. You won't want to use gloss paint because it will eat into styrofoam again and take forever to dry.So finish painting and use gloss fixative that sells in art shop. If lazy to paint over plaster coating, you can mix some paint when mixing powderfilla for base. Then gradually darken joint area.Final touches by spray paint and brushes. |
