-What are the standard port numbers for SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, RPC & HTTP?

-Explain DNS.

-Explain DHCP.

-How can you force the client to give up the dhcp lease if you have access to the client PC?

die lor if u think like this..i'm from Multimedia background and my first job is related to webdesign and also some general it troubleshooting for an insurance company in Klang. that time as a fresh grad, everything also seems like an alien for me.. hav to perform server n network maintainances too. everytime server down, sure panic and keep calling frens or asking through it forum. then second job is working with CSC as onsite engineer providing it software\hardwares support for the majors banks around Klang valley. that time really wokr like a kuli but yet never regretted coz i manage to learn lot of it knowledge there. and right now i'm into a new world again working in the call center. so in order for us as IT guy to survive and earn lot of $$, we need to frequently updates our IT knowledges. but in 2 years time, i will call it a day for call center job and then move to IT management field
