QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jun 9 2010, 10:05 AM) 600Hz is not the actual refresh rates of the panel. It is the sub pixel drive. Plasma refreshes totally different from an LCD panel as such the motion response on a plasma is better. planning to get samsung LED 6 series.is it ok? mostly for astro and dvd.

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jun 9 2010, 03:13 PM) Ask them to play astro for u and if u r happy with the quality at the distance that u plan to watch it at, it shd be ok. Sammy processing is pretty good, so make sure u take ur own dvds and check to ensure that u r happy. Things to note about LCDs/LED backlit LCDs, if u watch in the dark, black levels are not that great. However, the LED backlits are typically better than CCFL LCDs. Also look for clouding and see if it effects u. Another point to check to see if u can tolerate is SD (Astro) sports channels. Each display technology has its faults, if u can live with them, then u're good to go. thanks for the info. i think this would help to choose.
