I'm not a sifu but I was in the same situation as you. But after comparison, samsung plasma 7 series is more watchable than the LED counterpart plus much cheaper price. If you use the TV mainly for movies and byond, go for plasma. The black level, shadow details and pleasant color tone are just better.
