I went to jusco and saw a lot of LED.
There's one samsung led which show a smooth framerate on a movie where others displaying same movie not as smooth as it.
I wanted to know , what kind of technology was it called on samsung and in sony too ?
Philips also has that tech. Beware that there can be artifacts and it generally makes it look like a soap opera. Some people prefer that smooth high frame rate look, some don't.There's one samsung led which show a smooth framerate on a movie where others displaying same movie not as smooth as it.

MKV is just a container, you can put in EVERYTHING. And even if you use h264, which is what most think of when they hear MKV, it still depends on the settings. I personally, and many anime groups use the hi10p setting, which can only be decoded by powerful computers. There is no chip that can decode it in hardware.
