Panasonic and lg do not make plasmas at 46in.

i just bought a 32 Sony LCD, but I found myself a problem, I can’t get a good picture out of the local channel such as ty1,2,3,8 and 9. Anyone have ideas how to solve this problem??

i been offered Rm4250 for pana 50u20 and RM 3380 for 50x20..

is't good price.?

i was also considering the flagship zv and a plasma tv. reading there's lots of cons for plasma tech. heat output, image retention, high power consumption, mirror finish, reflection, image burn in and yada yada. and the only pro for plasma is image quality.

but considering that i'm upgrading from a lcd tv, might as well get a plasma and see for myself what's the fuss is all about.
well most of the cons for plasma is overblown out of propotion, and the image quality alone is enough for me to forget all about lcd altogether.

my wife said gives her goosebump watching skin texture on the plasma.

I mostly watch ASTRO (Sports) and DVDs.
But the TV will be located in front of my bed and i DON'T want too much reflection after the TV is turned off.
Which should i buy - PLASMA or LCD?

guys, i'm looking for a pana plasma 40/42". Stil confused whether to get the FHD LG or Pana. Usually be watching more movies then with the game console. Budget at RM2k or a little bit more. Guys need some help here... Any good shop to go to around kepong area?

the general consensus is that
plasma = bad = dead = outdated
lcd = good = better = current
led = superb = best = future

so buy led and be part of the future!

but yeah,
if you need to ask, then just buy anything that looks nice to your eyes (which would most probably be led anyway).

This is coming from the typical Malaysian school of thought called "newer must be better" and never use their own eyes to judge. Granted for cartoon, LED/LCD may be nicer than Plasma for picture quality.

but the expensive make up movie star has a lot of money. In long run, u dun have to pay much money to support her (electricity consumption is low). While plasma whom you said is plain looking lady only can become housewife and you have to support here and thus your money gone (electrictiy consumption is high)...
