Check out the link I provided a few posts up.

Based on my calculation, per year abt RM120-RM150 more, assuming you watch 5h a day, everyday of the year.

Over a 10 year period, you only spend RM1200-RM1500 more over the cost of the TV.

But compare the cost of LED to Plasma now, RM1200-RM1500 won't be able to justify the price difference if we are talking about identical sizes.

Head on the other hand, I cannot tell or comment on unfortunately.

My main concern is really motionblur/judder when watching soccer.

thank you.. i staying in australia and the electricity cost at here would be more massive than in malaysia..

gonna think twice since the price is quite tempting for 51" 3D plasma(cheaper than sony/samsung led 40")

i plan to use it mainly for playstation for around 2 hours per day(maybe more in weekend)

Plasma
Great for movies, not so great for animation. Its gas inside, so if u watch smth with still screen like those logo on the corner of ur tv, u'll later see the logo been burn down on it, but this takes real long time fo be burned in. Projected color is more to NATURAL.

LED
Sounds great, but still using LCD panel. Its liquid inside. Slimmer than plasma. Great projection to watch animation. Projected color is more VIVID.

I think u can see the comparison here -> http://asia.cnet.com/led-vs-plasma-vs-lcd-tvs-62213538.htm

is that every plasma will have the burn in issue?
