plasma moving picture like "jumping"
LED moving picture is slower due to reprocess the images between each frames
ur "600Hz" means 600 frames per second?
*
Hertz is jus the frequency from my understanding, and human eye can catch up no greater than 60 Hertz, like waving ur palm in front of ur eyes and u'll see blurry fingers. Higher hertz in tv means the refresh rate is higher so when u watched smth moving fast example football match, u will see the ball nicely, unlike lower frequency the ball will appear like a comet with its tail, so called ghosting.

Sinus out here please correct me if I'm wrong. Just trying to share smile.gif

looking for 40" led tv either from samsung or sony.i don need smart and 3d features but its better if comes with 100hz.

40" Sony you can opt for EX520 series which is last year model, price is around RM2000 now. For this year model, you can opt for EX650/EX653, RRP is RM2599, but can get it around RM2200. Both are top end non-3D, smart TV from Sony. Refresh rate is 50Hz but with the processor, it can be boosted up to 100Hz.

If you watch a lot sport like football, the refresh rate still a bit slow for 100Hz.

EX520 u need to purchase seperate WiFI dongle for the smart function pricing at RM199, but for EX650/653 u don't have to get the dongle, as its built in ready.

I'm using EX520, so far no issue at all. Recommended if you prefer a more natural color than extreme vivid color.

I'm not using Samsung, so let others feed you with better information from their experience.

thanks for that.

i saw 1 samsung 51" plasma 3d same price with 40" led series 6 but need to wait until end of next month for the stock.

which one will you get if you plan to change/sell after 1year+?

Tough question. I'll opt for LED tv then, but many still pref plasma still. They have their own market and target of consumers.
