haha I have that model...
I hate the LED trying to mimic the dark scene... it goes bright and dim... very irritating...

I'm using LG Plasma 3d (the 2011 model which use 2.4ghz for 3D signal to glasses instead of IR) and I can say I'm happy with it....
Cinema 3D from LG is impressive... but cost RM6000++ well mine only cost mr RM2099.00 for a 3D priceless |

QUOTE(Narako @ Jun 11 2011, 10:54 PM) erm is there any difference between hd ready and full hd if i dont watch 1080p movies? If you dont watch full HD movies go with 720p Plasma HD Ready TVcuz 1080p movies are extremely large and i never watch it i only watch those normal ones so would a full hd or hd ready have any significant difference if i just watch normal movies? and can recommend me a tv which fits my specs? and i am choosing plasma reason cheap and good... put it in this way... your SD(standard definition) content is 480p or 520p treat it as a elastic sheet of rubber plastic now pull that sheet of rubber plastic from 480 size to 1080p size... ugly right... now another scenario pull the 480 size to 720 size... still ugly but not as ugly as 1080p size... reason... no matter how good the up-scaling is there is diffidently loss in quality and by upscaling from 480p to 1080p there is more significant lost compare to 720p the scenario is the same with computer monitor imagene 320x240 resolution fit into the current 1366x760 monitor (UGLY right) now do the same resolution of 320x240 into a 640x480 monitor.... now it looks better right... |

The plastic is the stand... and I dont know about you guys but I dont use it I mount it to my wall
All LCD/LED/PLASMA uses VESA Mount. The wall bracket usually is steel (you buy good one laaa) and it screw into the TV Frame which is also steel/alluminium depend on model... so no issue leh... furthermore 32" how heavy can a TV get if 55" then I may consider better quality mount |

QUOTE(Urban @ Jun 15 2011, 08:25 AM) i have change my preference now... I want to drop the 3D and get a 46" inch tv. budget 3.7k... Want 1080p for gaming and blue ray for bluray and gaming can consider Samsung LED Series 4/5/6since you be using for gaming I would strongly suggest you to avoid Plasma although Plasma is more superior in movie and graphics but LED will be better on long run and less maintenance too... |

actually at the moment of LCD/LED playground the Leader is SAMSUNG
for PLASMA playground is PANASONIC Sony is the king for Trinitron Picture Tube Unfortunately now sony source the LCD panel from Samsung/Sony JV Plant in China and at the moment SAMSUNG will introduce new technology 1st and few month later Sony will follow, this is true in 3D and LED playing field... Unfortunately when SONY go into LCD playground they feel that it is too costly for SONY to make profit and join hands with Samsung... this reduce the LCD/LED TV price as they mass produce it at bigger volume and SAMSUNG has the top of the world quality in LCD/LED so joining hands with Samsung is not bad... Dont be fool with Made in Japan... although Sharp and Toshiba claim their TV is made in Japan it is only 1/2 truth... most of the Panel is manufacture in Japan and the IC board and IC is not... and Sharp is assembled in Malaysia... ask around and do your research and you will know... |

LED = more flexible but the colour accuracy not so good... basically the movie look fake
PLASMA = less flexible / need to take care of the TV / picture quality is perfect |
