Thinking of getting a 50" plasma (either Pana/Sammie) to pair with Mac Mini but the issue of burn-in effect is the only thing that is holding me back.
Sigh, Plasma vs LED (fake unnatural, overly vivid colours)...Big dilemma.

QUOTE(Lucassss @ Dec 4 2011, 12:05 AM) Not the same, but it's the same technology. Something like HTC's S-LCD and Samsung's AMOLED. IPS and S-LCD are part of the LCD panel technology. On the other hand, AMOLED is using Organic LEDs.Their colour rendering is a little different, but under the hood it's the same concept. As for IPS, the image quality, colour accuracy and viewing angle is better compared with the other LCD panels: (TN, VA) Source: http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php This post has been edited by ReaperX: Dec 4 2011, 03:17 AM |
