Went to imsobloodysick shop last week, and he said 54" Z is around 18K. Dunno whether he's referring to oversea price or malaysia price.

Panasonic is CRAZY rclxub.gif  to launch Z1 in Malaysia, should bring in 50V neoplasma which priced around 10K for all Malaysia  videophile to enjoy ! vmad.gif

I keep wondering what is their strategy by bringing 65 V instead of 50 V. I mean, alot of people can afford the 50" V more than the 65V or 54 Z. What is the point of bringing in something that not many can afford, when they can easily tap the market with 50" V? And I dont think by bringing 65V and 54 Z, they can use the 'very limited market so no point to sell it' excuse.

Even if they bringing in 3D tv, I dont think we have any 3D content to use it with. Still a long way to go.....

What does calibration means? I have been using LCD tv all these while but haven't heard of it before..

Heard it when I am researching for review over the internet recently..

Not looking for Plasma as I heard they are not recommended for HTPC purposes

It means setting all the necessary parameter to optimize the unit for normal viewing conditon.
