Hi, I'm looking for a full HD tv, 50-55". Budget is up to 10k.
Would prefer a 55" display, but I'm kinda cost-conscious. I previously picked up a 42" LG LCD from Carrefour at RM1,599, but it's a bit too small for my living area (around 15' from wall to couch). I saw an ad for a 50" plasma going for RM2,850 at Houz Depot, but I don't want to make the same mistake I did with the 42" - settle for something less just because the price was too good to pass up. Any suggestions for a good 55" full HD tv at RM10k and under? |

QUOTE(houguan @ Sep 7 2011, 04:08 PM) It is a feature to link ur LG device up, such as 1 button push to off/on all your link LG device. ie TV, Bluray player and etcBut I use logitech harmony remote to link them up, coz it can link up devices from different brands. |

You use that "Wireless AV Link" before?
I thought it is some kind of feature that can stream the content from your PC to TV? |

Just check out at few shops on the price or with the LYN sellers here, very competitive as well.Would prefer a 55" display, but I'm kinda cost-conscious. Any suggestions for a good 55" full HD tv at RM10k and under? I think for a 15ft, 50 in is better (just my pov), 55 might a little too big. If its 18-20, then 55-60 would be nice. |

QUOTE(trail_blazer @ Sep 9 2011, 05:45 PM) hi all sifus, recently thinking to buy an LED TV with budget around 2K Can I add Toshiba 42XL700e? Priced cheapest I have seen is 2999. It was around 3500 just last month. Image wise I think is good. The reason I know is because I just bought a 46XL700e last month, was pondering at 42' at that time but the price was too steep then.so far I came accross 2 models 1. Samsung UA40D5000 -- RM2499@sengheng http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/televis...b=specification 2. Just to let u know that this toshiba is also an EDGE LED LCD, but underneath it has local dimming (search google for Toshiba xl700 local dimming). Its an unwritten feature, which is amazing. |

getting a new tv for my living room. viewing distance is around 10'.. most important for me is the cost. i just upgraded to astro byond pvr, so the only HD content i'm watching is astro. currently using an old 32" hd ready phillips LCD, which is going to be used in another room. so for a budget of rm2000 and below, what would be most value for money? for about the same price range, i think its possible to get 42" plasma vs 40" fullHD LCD/LED. which would be a better buy for normal user like me?
