I am currently using the blackberry, but is thinking (long and hard) about moving on to an android phone. I had narrowed down my choices to 2, i.e. the Milestone and the Desire. Reason for the choice is the large capacitive touch screen.
Coming from blackberry user like me who is so used to having a physical keyboard (I'm using Bold2), do you think the Milestone's keyboard is anything near or similar to the Bold2's keyboard? I had tried the Milestone in a store before, but only for 15 minutes. That is hardly enough for a conclusion if it is good or not. What I would like to hear is from real Milestone users. What are your inputs on the keyboard of the Milestone? Worth the bulk? If not, then I will go with the HTC Desire. The only thing keeping me interested in getting the Milestone is the physical keyboard, actually.
By the way, does Facebook work with Android? Most reviews don't even mention it, so I just wanna confirm is it works or not.
I suppose corporate email accounts (POP3) should work without any problem too?
Sorry for the myriad of questions. Paying close to RM2k for a phone is quite an investment for me.... Hope you guys can help to answer my questions. Thanks ya.

First day with the Milestone was terrible. The battery died by 8 pm (fully charged in the morning). However, today (2nd day), things are a bit better. Now 8 pm I still got another 40% left. And I unplugged the phone from the charger earlier today. So I guess the battery needs some "running in" eh? Hmm.....
Overall, I am getting along well with the Android experience. More refreshingly cheerful compared to my blackberry.... Hahaha.... I am missing the BBM though....

Could be hardware failure? In which case, motorola should service or replace it for you. i had used quite a few motorola handphones. i must say that their quality is usually quite good. i had not had one motorola phone failed on me before..... but the problem with motorola is that sometimes they are a bit boring... luckily the milestone is far from boring....

Is there any way to overclock the milestone without rooting it?

I duno what it does that save some much batt as it does not turn off the auto SYNC, does not change the screen brightness, does not disturb your 3G or 2G signal, but it really make my phone's batt last longer. just sharing. if any1 have any better power saving apps plz share it. Interesting find! Thanks for sharing. But I think it is called "Power Save Mode Toggle". But it is a nice little apps you found there.
