hi guys, have a few questions about the droid to ask...

first of all, if i bought AP set(let's say from US), i'll need to use their sofware updater? and i don get to use chinese language?
and is there anyway to change the region of the device from US to APAC?

also, i read about u guys saying it's underclocked to 550Mhz? then how is it performing still? sked of lag...

thanks alot

and mods, if this is not a appropriate question to ask, please do let me know, i'll remove it right away

Maybe I have overlooked it skimming through this thread, but what about GPS? I ain't interested in paying for AGPS...
*
AGPS is just sending a very small packet data(most the time lower then 30 cent) for the satellite to narrow down the signal search area, and after locking to satellite it will disconnect from data connection already...unless u gonna use it everyday, or else i don see any big bill coming from here

Added on March 30, 2010, 1:53 pmnot to mention, i think AGPS should be able to be set to disabled in settings...

hi guys, i see that some of u all mentioned about overclocking at the previous page..
as far as i know, the OMAP chip can be overclocked, nokia N900, which is also using the OMAP 3430, is able to overclock it's CPU to a stable clock of 900Mhz, and used it for a few days i think, and a top bootable clock of 1050Mhz..so...if we are able to do that one day, then we might just be able to perform at par with snapdragon

well...as far as i know, apart from the CDMA and GSM thing, both are identical..not that sure though...

and i am just pointing out that N900 have the same processor mah.. can OC to 900Mhz ler, that's quite close to snapdragon performance liao..oh ya, and it's done without any CPU voltage tweak also..

but if we root our milestone, we can flash to custom rom right?
