Hmm..seriously considering the milestone after a test drive with it this mornin...been on 2.1 for weeks now on my liquid so they are about the same but the moto has slightly better industrial build than acer but laggin behind HTC build. The backside of the display gets scratch easily like the G1 if you slide it very often...not an issue but i'm sure ppl dont like fuglee drag marks on their phones.

You can always RSD Lite + SBF a HK/SG/MY firmware and you're back in business. But I am not sure why some people cannot get it to work. The procedures I posted, no good? sad.gif

The procedure is you posted is spot on. thumbup.gif

The reason I don't do it because I have to reinstall all the software and backup my sms, call log et al. Me malas to do that. tongue.gif If upgrade is easier for me. blush.gif

You can always use backup utility hehehe... I heard nandroid is a good tool but not sure how it will apply in the case of RSD Lite flashing.

Yeah, it uses very little data for getting signal lock quicker. What uses a lot of data is the Google Maps since you have to download the map on the go.
Google is not AGPS and has nothing to do with it. Technically speaking.

I see, my bad.

Which do you think is better, Motonav or papago, or something else?

no, you may have some push apps running. Use advanced task killer (which you can get from the android app store for free) to kill any apps running that may be causing the network to push data to your phone
