So far i did some of my 3d work, good ar. the performance i'm actually very happy with it.

tho gimme some examples of benchmarking programs and i'll run it biggrin.gif

If the TS could be so kind as to add me to the owners list

My Specs :

Intel Core I7-720QM Processor 1.6 GHz (turbo up to 2.8 GHz) 6MB L3 Cache
4GB Dual Channel 1333Mhz DDR3 SDRAM
500 GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
ATI Mobility RADEON 4670 - 1GB
9 Cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
15.6 End to end HD 1080p Display with TrueLife - Alpine White.

If I'm not mistaken, I read a few comments back that someone was afraif the 9 cell battery will spoil the looks of XPS? I can say it doesnt. and it's quite nicely shaped so it gives more air under the laptop.

beautiful =D. ur lucky i think the new batch of motherboards came in.
mine delayed 2 weeks because they ran outta motherboards. =)

believe me the 9 cell battery is not unsightly at all. in fact it's very functional. dell did a very good on thinking about the design.

nope i didnt get a sticker for it, but i'm thinking of getting those silicon things for the palm rest n keyboard. its just too glossy inside, dont want to get prints and oil.

seriously the performance on this thing is mindblowing. and the screen, whatever the things you read on the review, is nothing compared when you see it plugged in to AC. damn bright. so much so i had to reduce the brightness to half.

@ cain, btw do you need a picture of the 9 cell battery? or have you already seen it at dell shops.

Nice little touch, a button to see how much power is still left in the batt.

I don't really think it's such a big hole. reminds me of the gap you see in between the hinges on some notebooks/netbooks biggrin.gif

quite a jump, tho i would say it has to do with the 2x more ram than i had last time. and the graphics plays a big role. i'm doing alot of rendering work.

the whole package. definitely a jump.
