Where u online?? Home? Campus? Public?
Most probably spyware or adware... due to internet advertisement that U click b4 this...
this kind of threat much likely invisible to antivirus software...
U need malware removal software, such as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware...
I suggest u download ComboFix and perform a scan... post your report at Technical Support...

depend on what you upgrading also, the more you want to upgrade, the more discount you get...
i'll suggest you direct phone call Dell... i managed to discount rm700 for my own system, and help my friend discount rm300...
upgrade for 3 years complete cover, they gave me rm50 to upgrade it... nice~
*
lets say I want to upgrade processor (2.8 GHZ) + screen (RPG LED) + warranty ( 3 years Complete Cover )

how much discount should I be looking for?

mostly stuff not arriving on time. sometimes, i need to collect the items from the collecting depot/ post office because the staff could not find my house (yes my house is quite secluded and hard to find). worse, some staff don't even bother to call.

IIRC from Dell's website, the regular free shipping does not include pre-arrival call by the delivery ppl. So that's kinda to be expected isn't it?

Anyway, to answer ur previous question... A quick browse through this thread a couple of pages back shows that buying through phone call can negotiate to get couple hundred bucks off.

Me i'm dropping by PC fair next week. Buying online, but going to see if i can squeeze a freebie or two from the salespeople there. Since i'm paying ~5.5k, i'm expecting at least SOME free stuffs thrown into the package.
