Hey dude performance over ur Core 2 Duo what do you think?

quite a jump, tho i would say it has to do with the 2x more ram than i had last time. and the graphics plays a big role. i'm doing alot of rendering work.

i was looking at the 3d mark 06. it's 500 freaking mb's to download. =X sorry. couldn't run that test as yet.

In fact, most synthetic benchmarks are just that, synthetic.

hey anyone encounter extremely slow internet browsing with the new win7 on the dell 1640? it was extremely slow on my comp but was the speed was fine on my friends laptop.

hmm maybe something is wrong with the setting.. Im also having this problem on youtube only.. very slow.. downloads are okay.. 100-150kbps..

Anyone knows how to tweak the windows 7 download speed?

What is the best way to get a cheapest price for SXPS16 with freebies as well? Is it by phone call or from retail shops? And if calling is the cheapest option, what should I mention during the phone call?

i'll suggest you direct phone call Dell... i managed to discount rm700 for my own system, and help my friend discount rm300...

I have windows 7 home premium 32bit and 4GB RAM installed
As i remember that "(2.96 GB Usable)" word is not there last time...
and i got "Service Pack 1D"... izit there b4 this?? i really not sure..

That's bcuz u're using the 32-bit OS. Need 64-bit to make full use of the 4GB

bcoz ur system shared some of the memory !! forgotten to where ald, that why it display 2.96Gb not 3Gb
