Evene the GTX260m and GTX280M wouldnt satisfy Crysis try looking at the GPU Benchmark here by our forumer see the Alienware M15x Corei7 and GTX260M the owner say its not smooth on the highest settings..

There's nothing much to expect.. Play it on medium settings should be fine

wat is the GPU temperature for you guys while idle and playing games?
I got like 45 degree celcius in idle and got maximum 55 degree celcius while gaming. Is that normal?
(I am using a normal notebook cooler)

Added on November 24, 2009, 11:19 amGPU need to perform extra duty to when AA is turn ON, hence the GPU core temp will get hotter..
Turning OFF AA, will make the graphic/model look less realistic, but GPU can allocated its resource to other use such as background model, texture mapping, lighting, shadow and physics..

That means to turn off Anti-Aliasing or AA in short. It serves to smooth out rough or jagged edges in your game frames but in addition to providing added picture quality is also a huge drain on the GPU.

Summary,
OFF AA = more FPS, graphics less nice, GPU temp lower
ON AA = low FPS, graphics look nicer, GPU temp higher

Actually if you are gaming on 1920x1080 AA makes nary a difference. At least from what I can see.

hey anybody experience the xps? if you run on battery only without AC adapter? when u play game it lags , and when u play music it lags as well? and my adapter is so hot at times.

Performance is not maximum when u run on battery only, unles u put high performance on the battery mode...

Anyone know where can I get Windows Movie Maker?
I doesn't want Windows LIVE Movie Maker cause I can't edit song with it.
Or anyone could recommend some software?
I'm just using it for simple editing song.
