The 15.6" still retains the native resolution of 1920x1080 so no worries!!

guys,

i plan to buy dell xps 16 very soon.

but need to clarify a few things about the notebook.

I check on the dell website and I'm a bit confuse about the display since they didn't put the resolution for each display.

I need to know what is the highest setting for 15.6' display compare to 16' RGBLED? is it 1980x1080, or 1366x768.

TQ
*
both display will be 1920*1080 FULL HD. nod.gif

erm...i can use any angle to look at my screen and the colour didnt fade alot.
compare with my others laptop with WLED and normal LCD screen, i normally put full brightness for them, but for this RGB, i only put 50% because the colour already very rich and bright even it only set at 50-60%.

But colour accuracy is always the drawback. Most people like natural colours rather than over saturated colours right?

it's really depends on every people... but for me, the reason bought this laptop because of the RGBLED screen+ Backlit keyboard... if not i will go for other brand or use the money pump up the performance...
but serious... when come to gaming... the colour really nice...

you will decide which screen suit for you when RGBLED and WLED put 2gether...

I just do some testing on the cooler master notepal U2 (just open a game and leave the graphic run), the result is:

1. normal room temp + wooden table = core 0: 65'c-69'c core 1: 70'c-73'c - load 20% - 40%

2. normal room temp + notepal U2 = core 0 60'c-63'c core 1: 66'c-68'c - load 20% - 40%

3. normal room temp + notepal U2 fan = core 0: 50 'c-54 core 1: 52'c-55'c - load 20% - 40%

so.. what do you guys think ?

buy from dell or from retail shop is almost the same..they oso need to oder and wait for dell deliver to them...and the worst thing is.. u dont know the dell retail shop got oder the spec you want or not and the price + freebies is all base on the shop...
so still call dell is faster and cheaper..
