Hey guys, i just format my laptop to Win7, and i updated the bios to version A11...
After my bios update, my cpu usage is not stable...Y?? rclxub.gif

Win7 suppose use a little of cpu and RAM..But my CPU sometimes go to 50% sometimes 19%..
Just keep up and down..

Programs and services dictates the CPU usage, BIOS will be less of an influence.
However if the new BIOS screwed up Intel Speed Step, then it might cause unstable CPU core clock speeds, not CPU usage.

u mean A11 got some problem??i feel that A11 downgrade my graphic performance.i feel that A10 performs better than A11

U got install any anti-virus and update in process? Normally 5~30% after 1min boot into the win7.

Well, I won't go as far as saying the BIOS is faulty, but I did notice the GPU temperature went up to about 5 degrees Celsius in average.
Not sure if you could downgrade the BIOS version, apart from rise in GPU temperature I didn't experience any unstable CPU usage.

hmm.gif guyz, recently I've been facing problems with the wlan connection, its okay when im using it at home, but when I use it during my class it has trouble connecting to the internet

My other friends has no trouble with their wlan, only mine...

Could dell fix this problem ?

I had the same problem with a different brand laptop. Did any error message popped out? Mine did.

will u recommend us dont update to A11 and stick to A10?well, even though graphic performance degraded but i feel slightly improve in cpu performance.what do u think?

Morning,

could any1 advise how can we get the Win7 from Dell?

I registered d, but only received the confirmation from Dell on the day of registration, after that, no more news from Dell d~ How can i get the win7 from Dell?

Beside, could any1 suggest a good laptop cooler? It's damn HOT while playing games. I hear zalman nc 2000 is good - any better suggestion?

for me seems to use less...

but Vista x64 and Win7 x64 use more RAM than the x86 flavour, mainly cuz they need to support 32-bit stuff as well...

If you think the CPU issue is troubling you a lot, might as well downgrade it.
I didn't experience sluggish performance on my system, so I'll stick to A11 for now.

Anyone having problem with the CD ROM?
Weirdly this things just happened, whenever I put a disc in it will never able to read any files.
Tried with few different DVD, no luck so far.
