k40in not so good in gaming coz the gc sux(integrated),k40ab better coz it use hd4570 ,so if u r on budget ,u can consider k40ab.but since u have the budget, buy k40ab for what while sxps16 is a lot better?

I'm not sure if you can change the processor of the SXPS 16, seeing as I haven't actually opened one up before. But chances are, that is indeed a viable option.

They should both use the same socket as they are based on the same Montevina platform. So yes, you can replace your current processor with the quad core extreme variant, even though it'll probably cost you a third of what you originally paid for your laptop.

yawn.gif I didnt know you can change the cpu ;/ erm... yawn.gif does the cpu sold in the market works? or u need to order from specially from dell?
I only change my ram personally as buying from the mkt is cheaper then from dell itself.
