Hi all, I'm thinking of getting one K50AB, wondering how is the performance. I've been using Phenom 9550 + 8800GT + 2.5GB Ram(I know it's odd), will I suffer if I were to buy and use K50AB? Main usage - Graphics programming + 3D design (blender3d) + Gaming Thanks

Yeah, I know, but the difference is about 700RM, which is a decent amount to me... Is the difference really big on processing speed? I just need to compile a moderately big program (which takes about 2 mins per compilation on my Phenom)? Haihzzz, too bad I'm poorchie poor... Else getting myself a Alienware d hahaha...
@Riggo I think you're referring to QL64 to QL65 upgrade, but I don't there's a huge difference in both the procs... I'm not 100% sure tho

Yeah I know it's a Quad, I just don't know the responsiveness of the lappie, I'm an impatient guy... I need the responsiveness when I'm doing interactive job (3dsmax, MSVS) hehe... I used my friends Pentium M, and got impatient REALLY REALLY quickly (It's like I'm going to burn the machine right the second I'm using them haha)...

@astria I've been using PC since a long time ago (XT era haha)... I've got 2 X2 rig at my home too, they're still bearable... I think the QL65 is almost equals to X2 4400+ right? Cause I've got one at home, and if the performance is equal, then I think the laptop can escape the fate of being burnt by me hahaha...
