ASSEMBLED in china, but most of the parts are made elsewhere.... like the processor chip mostly comes from malaysia, the HDD is thailand made. the GPU chip i dunno where, maybe US, maybe india....

no worries...all of our laptop hav those chinese wordings n of cos plasticky keypads.....

any1 try the switching in win7 64bit??like from switch power express to 4570 in window mode...?

anyone of u guys have tried NFS:Shift on this laptop?

i tried with full (1366res)max setting = less than 3 fps lol (totally unplayable)
(1280res)med setting = less than 10~11 fps (big ouch)
(1024res)low setting = not more than 15fps

800x600res (cheapest) = not more than 20fps...

so, this game is totally unplayable for my k40ab ^^; thank you

wth,something wrong with your lappy,mine can get until 25fps ^ with 1366 with High & Medium setting.

Maybe u didnt OC your HD4570 & use AMD fusion??

lol even ASUS is a TAIWAN company,why should you hate it???

i using win7 64bit and download the vga driver from asus tek after install reboot..than and reboot change to power express in the bios than go window,is switchable ady...

the vga driver from asus isnt up to date if im not mistaken.

k10 is able to show the proc temp,
GPU = GPUz

This is the default engine/memory i checked through AMD GPU clock...

its soooo low right!!?

when i refer to page 1 najmod's config to put as 700/600..it says config failed.



is this the reason why NFS Shift is totally unplayable for my k40?

coz it's on PowerPlay mode, where it throttles down to 0.9v VID to save on power @ 2D

once on 3d, it will auto ramp up to 600/500mhz. u can manually set the OC speed, juz enter 700/600, press 'set clock' and u can see it auto ramp to 1.1v.
