Would it be fatal for the laptop to overclock w/out opening the casing? the temp will increase approx how much in degree?

Anyone here sells / knows how to get charger + adapter for this model? and how much?

as the previous posts said... overclocking the CPU will be useless..

for GPU.. depends on how much u overclock..

thats a weird question ur asking.. if u are going to buy the laptop.. charger and adapter will be provided.

juz wanna ask... for those who uses Catalyst 9.10 with Mobility Modder, do u see any performance improvements???

i ve yet to see any ever since Catalyst 9.7...

if overclock the GPU according to TS? i am a little bit unfamiliar with the terms 'till it artifacts' etc. does artifacts mean damaged?

im planning to get additional charger and adapter, particularly for traveling, while the existing one stays at home

to observe artifacts, run a 3d benchmark prog like 3dmark06. observe for any non normal graphical abnormalities, things like, spots, torn graphics, weird shapes that shouldnt be there. so continue to downclock roughly till it's abnormalities disappears

i am using 9.10 here.. moddeed.. an yes.. significant performance increase

hey guys~~ is it advisable to install windows 7 pro 64 bit on K40AB ? because i dont wanna waste the 4gb ram on 32 bit..

yes off course, x64 is the only way to utilise >4gb rams

plus. 64 bit os remove the 2 gb barrier. 32 bit os only allow 2gb ram usage per apps/games even if u hv 3gb/4gb(3gb on 32 bit...)

Its quite hard to get stock for K50AB, you need to order to get it; if you're lucky.

hey guys..i installed 64 bit windows 7 Professional on my laptop ...and at the System Information, it shows 4.00 GB(3.75 GB usable) .....is this normal ?? isn't 64 supposed to support 4GB fully ?

which OS are you on? i'm having the problem on win 7 32bit. Mobility modder would successfully mod the INF, but win refused to install it.

are u on Power Express mode? if yes, HD3200 is taking up the memory from the total installed memory
