i've checked my friend K50AB with bios version 218 but i cant find the graphic card selection/PowerXpress.. is it normal?

or do i need to flash it to 220 to be able to use it?

the old bios version 201 has, i've flashed mine to 220 and PowerXpress worked perfectly, its weird bios 218 didnt have that

Hmm, IIRC 8tvt don't even have HD3200 onboard regardless what BIOS he use. I tried many BIOS including the one they pull out, all worked well with PowerXpress

yup second batch i guess.. coz my friend's K50AB with QL-64 proc got the powerXpress option..
mine with QL-65 just have 4570 (no bios option)..

I need a confirmation from information i have here:

K50AB-SX126-w/o OS 15.6"/ATHLON X2 RM75 2.2/2G/320G/DOS/ATI 4570 512M/WC1.3

the seller said RM75 is athlon since for malaysia market the turion not available. But i have crossed check with amd website that RM 75 is Turion. I;m confuse.. pls help

You trust the seller, or you trust the net, to be more specific, the manufacturer of the CPU itself? I believe you already knew the answer to that question

btw, just wondering, anyone knows who still got ready stock for this baby ? (will take either k40/50ab)

as i contacted few local distributors (servex + others) all Out of stock.. Grrr.. i wanna get 1 before cny !_!

i guess ppl should opt for k42jr or k52jr already.. time to move on.. its worth to top up IMO..

erm guys may i ask a question ?
how to fix the brightness adjust problem in win 7 ?
i press Fn+F5/F6 its shows the brightness gauge increase and decrease but the brightness wont increase nor decreased at all...

i already did the overclock on my k50ab..
so the results is gpu core 710
gpu memory 500
and gpu temperature is 81

is it okay with this clock and the temperature oso?
so the actual purpose of overclock is to boost perfomance during playing games right? then after playing games, we can revert it back to default clock setting right? sorry for the noob question

yea that temperature are fine,mine with fanbug also hovering raound 67c with max oc.yeah actually increase the memory clock alrdy boost the performance ingame and yeah you can turn to defualt clock just by 1 click (assuming you using AMD GPU clocktool)

Yes its possible to do so, that is what I done on first mod I do before I put the ground someplace else. Of course you could use it, why don't you go on first page, its there

If it don't hang or crashed, it could be consider as good, but if that is your idle temperature it could be dangerous if you do gaming

Idle means idle, you do nothing for certain period of time and that is your idle temperature. That is after you playing games? Which means it could be higher during gaming, although it have thermal limit of 100C make sure yours don't reach 90C when gaming, lower is better, to lower it either you do fanmod like I did and open up the backpanel when gaming to promote airflow
