mainly, it's the ATi 4570 video card, tat allows some decent gaming. other than tat, it's intel vs amd. not to forget asus has 2 yr warranty

aya no need to regret one la. things always get better and cheaper. u juz buy whats best with ur budget at the given moment when u need it.

ya so whats next, even u buy A52JR now, there'll always be a better replacement model, then u'll be sighing yet again,..n goes on

yeah using beta preview 10.3 too

glad to say powerexpress/powerplay working well. no such bugs anymore..period

the whole thing juz feels much better/smoother in the sense

haven test out the battery life, if the hd3200 does infact prolong in effect

Tried OCing HD3200 to 700/500 from 500/400 and it's OCable, which the previous driver didn't allowed me.
folding GPU just to have some fun with it.

unfortunately, 4570 isn't foldable juz yet

weird, i tried console and gui, but it stated something like vga isn't supported .

OCed with amd gpu clock

Edit: ah think i got it. u were on dGPU mode rite? probably that's why 4570 folded. I'm on powerexpress, maybe it's not smart enof to dictate the vga options when folding

i supposed ur on cat 10.3 beta? mm mine works perfectly well. switches to n fro without issue. yeah the hd3200 isn't displayed properly, but u can see the actual clock when it's ramped up on demand to 500/400. i manually set it to run @ 700/550(about the max without crashing). it will still downclock @ idle mode, but ramps up to ur desired clock speed @ load

processing power wise (photoshop etc),it's quite worth while to upgrade. the AMD is jus plainly inferior when it comes to processing & battery life = efficiency

it's a 1GB ati 5470 ddr3. would provide some extrakick from the ddr2 4570, 800mhz vs 600mhz memory speed

yup i didnt get cracking sound with win 7 generic driver.

with VIA, at times muted, softer compared to win7 generic..but sounds better
