I was using the GPS continuously for 3.5 hours on my last trip up to KL Added on December 22, 2009, 9:55 pm Are you using Maxis broadband sim card ?? If so, just search for this issue in this forum - I do remember a fellow user here has similar problem with Maxis ( if is broadband ) about a week back. Why don't you PM him for solution ?? |

QUOTE(evilpuppy @ Dec 23 2009, 01:33 PM) Quote from mobinauts - Thanks. ..... btw does your hd2 3G icon looks funny ?Not as clear as the others icon. For those who were not aware, there is a calendar bug in the HTC HD2 where the user cannot go past the week of October 26 - November 1, 2009. This happens when users have Monday selected as first day of the week. HTC released an update and fixed the problem. "This update for HTC HD2 expands the dynamic nature of the Calendar application. Whether your week starts on Monday or Sunday, allowing you to view appointments occurring tomorrow, next week, or even next month." |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 28 2009, 10:39 PM) SSPL now available - so rom addicts can now start flashing their phones. The process is extremely simple and flashing another rom takes about 10 minutes only: have u seen this : TOUCH-IT ROMhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589642 I am now testing out Topix rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...t=595318&page=9 My immediate observation - more memory released in storage and most processes are faster. Of course some minor bugs - but not "killing" type - the developer will continue to refined it with feedbacks from users |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 29 2009, 12:33 AM) This TOUCH-it Rom has one feature lacking : it cannot allow one to setup more than 9 quicklinks on homescreen/and same wallpaper across all tabs. I can do it with the Topix rom - which I have 20 quicklink shortcuts on homescreen and same wallpaper across all tabs cool ......Just to update : I install exactly same set of 3rd party programs and personal database ( PIM, icons sets, mail, SMS, wallpaers etc ) on the cooked rom. Previously I average 55-60 MB free storage left ; now with the cooked rom I have 105 MB FREE !!!! Added on December 29, 2009, 12:50 amdammit those icon came back after deleting it!!! HTC People HTC Calendar HTC Footprints HTC Music HTC Twitter How do i get rid of those icon ..... This post has been edited by redrum77: Dec 29 2009, 12:50 AM |

QUOTE(avenloh @ Dec 31 2009, 06:15 PM) drag to space is for upper case only. exp: a-> A . mean CAP LOCK. like our keyboard if u wan upper choice u need press Shift right? Oops not space .. i meant spacebar. Normally we would press it longer then a small popup of the punctuation will appear, but @ SWYPE site [HERE] . Checkout their Punctuation video. He just hold (eg X) drag it towards SPACEBAR and * appear. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 5 2010, 09:46 AM) I have been testing various cooked roms over the last few days - Topix, Xanny Tech, Duttys, Miri and 135VY. I noted for all these cooked roms, I have gain additional free storage memory ranging from 50 MB to 80 MB !!! Just goes to shows how much "junk" and unnecessary files are builtin the original official roms. All the roms have a common feature - bootup and response time is way much better and screen sensitivy is better too. I'd highly recommend those who are willing to go up another step to tweak their HD2 should try it. Rom upgrade is very simple - just download the SSPL file : Scared i messed it up ...... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=606713 I'd say this is the EASIEST SPL process I'd have use ( having tinkering with roms of HTC HD, TP2, TP, 3600i , Dopd U1000 etc ). Then choose which rom you'd like - go thro their features/users feedbacks etc : http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=534 Lastly you can customize your HD2 look using a large variety of tools : MaxManila at : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=551489 Manila tweaks by others : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583862 Attached example of my unit after customization ; all icons I have mostly change to my own taste [attachmentid=1382310] [attachmentid=1382311] [attachmentid=1382312] |
