I might be wrong but from what I observe, the problems mentioned seems to happen to the Europe and Australia (first batch), but not to the Taiwanese who got the phone slightly later. So it might just happen to the first batch of the phone, who knows.

Tested just now.. realize that the camera problem doesn't occur when there's ample lighting ... seems like white balancing problem.

The pink color will be there if you purposely "look" for it, but under normal circumstances, it's not visible.

The sms problem might be similar to those I encountered in the stock rom of D2. In the threaded sms, certain sms will remain in the outbox if I tried to sent it through the Manila3D (before it was renamed to HTC sense) Messages tab.

The only way for me to avoid the above problem is to open up the "native" WM messaging app and the messages in outbox will be sent automatically. This problem doesn't exist in the new wm6.5 D2 stock rom.

Those with HD2 and sms problem might want to give it a try.

Not to burst any bubble here. I am also crazy for the hd2 but I was wondering if it is a good idea to buy now? The reason is cos I have seen the rumoured HTC 2010 roadmap and it seems that better models are due out in the not too distant future. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that hd2 will have a winmo 7 upgrade although it is rumoured to be upgradable.

Any advice?

Better models are out every now and then. So if you want to wait, you are going to wait forever.

I'm suddenly getting frustrated with my HD2. It was super fast and super breezy when I got it. But lately, it's been showing lag and if I swipe over the tabs too fast, it will hang.

Sometimes, when I'm trying to send an SMS or e-mail, going through my phonebook (I have over 1000 contacts) it hangs. Sometimes, it lags but I would still be typing. Then it hangs and comes back to life in 20-30 seconds.

Sometimes, I turn it on from standby, slide to unlock and ... yup, hang!

I have to restart my phone several times, sometimes even have to remove battery to restart. I don't like this. I don't know why this is happening now.

Have you tried a hard reset?

I can't find the setting you mention above. I got a problem with pairing with my ITECH D-Clip Bluetooth headset. My phone cannot seach the bluetooth device. Try seaching and searching but can't found it to appear on my device. Anybody can help me on this because i really need it.  sad.gif

Have you switch your headset to pairing mode? Refer to the user manual.

Just get sashimi and spend one time to configure it so next time you can use it for quick installation.
