after using it most of today i have 2 comments. Firstly, it is the best I have ever had. No regrets at all.

Secondly, the only thing I'm a bit slack about is battery life. Maybe cos I was using the omnia hd before this. Not that big a deal la. just takes some adjusting and getting used to.

But I absolutely LOVE this phone

he's running SENSE 2.5, not HD2 rom. there is a HUGE difference. flashing roms meant for different devices on your device can PERMANENTLY DAMAGE your PDA, and all u have left is a very expensive paper weight. he's probably using the same base windows mobile kernel and the same application files but u cannot just take any rom from another device and straight flash on your own.

and its no surprise he can run SENSE 2.5. windows mobile is versatile u can port things here and there quite easily. SENSE 2.5 has already been ported to all the older windows mobile devices as well. heck been using SENSE 2.5 BEFORE HD2 was launched here in my Touch Pro 2 lol

The camera update does not fully eliminate the pink issue.

According to my vision, I can still detect pink hue at the centre (it's just less prominent). This MAY conclude it's hardware problem, not software.

sigh.. i thought of getting the Omnia II before hearing the news of the HD2, but after playing with the Omnia II, im so disappointed with it.. lousy speed, bad interface, lags alot, Omnia did alot of customization to the original  WM interface which made it so not user friendly (i don't even know how to make the bluetooth visible!) , they even use the black colour theme which makes some software not compatible (unless you change it to a white theme). everything is bad on the Omnia II IMO. 800Mhz? i feel that it is running on a 400 Mhz processor, even my cruise is faster than that

Its much better now, tested for a while and i found that some of the sms are failed to load

not really fix all the problem so i guess i'll stick with the xda patch lolx.

Until today i never encounter any message stuck or delay so far since day 1 using it, if you doest have such issue i would suggest stay away this fix. this is not a fix, its getting worse.

It is FANTASTIC and I was thoroughly impressed . Now I use it as my standard INPUT - it is only at ver 1.0 and I believe the developer will improve it further. My input efficiency I must say has gone up few hundred percent. It will just take you a few minutes of testing to familiarize. Download the WVGA version only 1.5MB

We see you have re-packaged our software and are distributing it. We are glad to hear that you guys like Swype, but we are obligated to state that we don't condone such activity nor support the result. Naturally those of you asking for new languages and features should wait until we launch a device in your market. Obviously, we won't support unlicensed versions of our software.

One might ask why we don't just release the .cab file ourselves and save everyone the hassle. The reason is that we have spent seven years building Swype and we want to try to make a living selling our software. That means someone needs to pay for it. Thus far, our business model is OEM licensing. We do plan to get to direct-to-consumer distribution but it is a different sort of business and thus it is hard to say when.

In the meantime, enjoy using Swype and please look out for a better, more integrated, and legal version coming soon to a phone near you.

i juz know the 58 package is for internet.... u mean  i have to separate 2 line with 1 58 and 1 30?? no way.... daily RM5 = RM 150 d....

perhaps HD2 user should consider this leather cases.
