Geram... I am still waiting for mine too. sad.gif

For those whom are still waiting for the HD2

UPSIDE

1.Many unresolved issues, eg pinkish screen, sms not sent, task manager, slow SENSE etc etc
2.To rectify the current issues you probably need to flash new ROM and reconfigure your device again, eg email settings, contacts etc etc
3. Dutty is now cooking a ROM for HD2, which will be more superior than the stock ROM as usual

DOWNSIDE

Can't play with this BEAST, which out weight all the above cry.gif

hahaha..thanks  smile.gif smile.gif

after using it most of today i have 2 comments. Firstly, it is the best I have ever had. No regrets at all. smile.gif

Secondly, the only thing I'm a bit slack about is battery life. Maybe cos I was using the omnia hd before this. Not that big a deal la. just takes some adjusting and getting used to.

But I absolutely LOVE this phone smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Try turning off all your auto connection and disable 3G connection. Only able 3G when you want it. That would improve battery life; that is my experience with HTC HD.

For those who are thinking of installing Advanced Configuration program to your HD2, DON'T! It will screw up the Sense which would require you to Hard Reset. cry.gif

Do not use SKTools to clean up your HD2, or else Hard Reset is required. I got my unit on Sunday since then I have Hard Reset 6 times!. Many of the utilities programs that are suitable for HD are not compatible with HD2. Fortunately I have backup using Sprite Backup. biggrin.gif

I just bought a spare charger, which is similar to Nokia 6500, for just RM28.

Capacitive screen is more difficult to use. Many programs are not written for for such screen. HD will take any program biggrin.gif

Hi all... I just got my HD2 a few days ago, and I think I've hard-resetted it for about 7-8 times. After installing certain programs, I get that "A problem has occurred with services.exe" error, and end up losing my lock screen (the one with the slide-to-unlock). Any body encounter this? One example would be the 4x4 grid shortcut on homescreen, sure get this error. For me, I like that unlock screen...

I installed Sprite backup, and successfully made one error free backup file, but after making the backup file also get this services.exe error. Anybody else gets this problem?

Dr Who and RedDevils88: What cab file u guys used for the 16 / 20 quick links ah? biggrin.gif

The 20 Quick Links is from here.

I had the same service.exe error but somehow it disappeared after I restored the latest backup from Sprite Backup.

Thanks for the link! smile.gif And it works very well for me (no errors so far!) smile.gif
My service.exe errors disappear too, but frustrated when it takes away my lock screen sleep.gif"....

Lock screen will disappear each time you reset the device. Just press the Power button for 3 secs and than choose Lock Device and you are back in business brows.gif

Apps I use require stylus. Untill they there are new versions of these apps, I guess I am better off with a resistive screen phone. But if can't get the price I want then I guess will just have to persist on. Hopefully the new versions will appear soon.

That is the same reason why I currently prefer my HD than my HD2. SKTools latest version now caters for capacitive screen.

if i switch that on, it give better animation in the home tab but not as good as default 1, turn it off even worst.

really really weird. when it is cloudy day, u will c the clouds move and stop and move again  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

The cloud will continue moving unless interrupted by another program. It should not pause. Did you use Task Manager to check whether other programs have just being launched, ie auto weather updating etc etc.

I just uninstalled the driver and soft reset and tested the Home Screen and reinstalled the driver and soft reset. I don't see any different with and without the driver. Did you increase your glyph cache setting? You should; to improve the graphic speed.
