QUOTE(outdoorxplorer @ Dec 26 2009, 06:01 PM) By any chance you also take BB9000 as trade in and top up for BB9700. PM your location and mode of payment. I don't suggest you to trade-in your phone, as I will accept it at a very very low price . Cash method only

Let me clarify about AP set between telco set. First of all there is no difference, the device works like it should be. The
only difference for AP set is being brought into the market unofficially by dealers with local warranty which is done by
their technician. Telco set is officially brought into Malaysia but the set is tatooless because the device is
signed under the contract with the telco company by bringing in a large amount of units. They can even tatoo their
respective tatoo like MAXIS OR CELCOM if they want to.

QUOTE(PiggyAikz @ Jan 5 2010, 10:59 PM) In terms of after sales warranty, would there be significant difference? I was informed that AP set does not warranty the handset itself but only certain parts. Where as Maxis / Celcom although they take ages to repair or replace they would fix. sales warranty for AP = Applicable for hardware ( Some other shop don't provide, but I do ) Maxis / Celcom = Same ( They don't compensate any physical damage! ) I am also a dealer, so of course I know everything.
