Hi everyone, i'd like to ask something.. (don't know if this is the right place to ask though sweat.gif )
Is an i5 3337U capable of playing games smoothly? (the laptop im looking at has gt730m)
(e.g assassins creed, tomb raider)
It doesn't need to be in high or ultra settings, medium to low would be good enough just need it to be playable and lag free

Your insight on this is highly appreciated notworthy.gif

Thank you for replying! I really appreciate it, helps me clear some of the doubts I had notworthy.gif

Another question, does the processor play a role in gaming?

Generally games' engine will choose GPU as it main source and CPU as its supporter/backup.

But some games utilize CPU relatively higher than most of the game - such as Battlefield 3.

AMD CPU is much slower than the Intel counterpart,
you can see how the CPU bottleneck the game, M17x R4 (AMD HD7970M) vs GX60 (AMD HD7970M)

Most of the game drains the juice from GPU instead of CPU. Basically speaking, any i7-haswell is good enough to do its part in delivering maximum gaming experience as needed from game's engine.

But again, of course some game do depend on CPU to performed better smile.gif

Baytrail that is going to show up in tablet later this year.
By the look of it, this Z3700/3600 is quite a big jump from Z2760 now.
And can run Android thumbup.gif
