Im actually quite curious on how they deal with the wind loadings up there.It's so tall and the wind up there is gonna be so strong.

I heard a surveyor who works in Burj Dubai says the structure is constantly in an oval rotation.Non stop.

Even some simple wind design of a bloody warehouse also killing me now. doh.gif laugh.gif

Not just money,but whether is it worth pouring so much money into a uber tall building.

I think only rich country like Dubai only can pull this off.

Japan,i highly doubt it as Japan is in earthquake prone area.

Didnt really read much on their techniques.

Mostly soil stuff,i think,and i have only touch soil mechanics this sem.
