But of course, some of us need to be inspired with one way or another.

Why don't just walk into a local bookstore and browse around?

Enjoy the moment.

Some how , there are tons of book out there . And we didn't know which book good. That's why i create this thread so that those who have read book that useful might share with us what book it is and what it does(worth recommend to other people) . Perhaps you might say i too lazy to browse. tongue.gif

What you may realize about books about life/motivational/self help are that they are mostly prepackaged common sense.

And since everybody's life is different, you might have to simply take one from a shelf, and see how your life reacts to it.

Interesting take on some greater things in life. Its about material gains, spiritual enlightenment?. Plenty of positive stuff, mostly motivatial book type, in the form of a story. Makes for a good read, which I really can't elaborate too much, since it would spoil the plot. All the same, go check it out @ MPH. You might like it. ..or you might not.

i like the crayon shin-chan's the secret treasure of buri buri kingdom.

it injects humor into life and acts as hiatus to our continuum series of life's clutch. it is the toast to joie de vivre.

sorry if you think im being a joker. and i think this thread does not belong here either.

I recomend this book.

"One litre of tears"

It's a dairy of... Wait... Here's wiki's explaination...

1 Litre no Namida (1リットルの涙 Ichi Rittoru no Namida?, lit. "1 Litre of Tears"; also called A Diary with Tears or A Diary of Tears) is a dramatic tragedy diary written by Aya Kitō (木藤亜也 Kitō Aya?, July 19, 1962 - May 23, 1988) published shortly before her death. The diary, a true story based on her own life, was originally written in first person. It is about a girl coping with her teenage life along with a degenerative disease. She keeps a diary of not only what she does but how she feels and the hardships she must endure. Initially, the diary's purpose was for Kitô to chronicle impressions she had about how the disease was affecting her daily life. As the disease progressed, however, the diary became Kitô's outlet for describing the intense personal struggles she underwent in coping, adapting, and ultimately trying to survive her disease. As she notes in one entry, "I write because writing is evidence that I am still alive."

I bought this book some time ago when my friend recomended me... And goodness me, it's touching... I'm not sure whether you can purchase the book in it's english version here in Malaysia but by all means do if you find one...

It touches lives... Er... Well at least it touched mine... as well as thousand others...

And you can watch the tv series also... Name One litre of tears..

It's just a 12 episode things.. Trust me, it's a good show and also very inspiring.. Read some comments about the people who have watch the show if you don't believe me smile.gif

I do think that this is a popular show, anybody who has watched it before care to coment??

And once you've read Blink, read "Think" by Michael R. LeGault, which is a book specifically aimed at refuting Blink. Best read immediately after Blink, so you can draw your own conclusions with both books fresh in your mind.

I also like "Tuesdays With Morrie", by Mitch Alborn.

I think Mitch Albom's books are really inspiring and meaningful, it got me thinking alot about life.

Try Jodi Picoult if you like stories that deal with medical dilemas.

Dale Carnagie also has a motivational book called "Stop Worrying and Start Living" which is quite good also.

Cheers! =]

i love Tuesdays with Morrie, it serves as a reminder for us to slow down, take a breather in our fast-paced life and then, to appreciate the things that really matters in life.

Soulpancake by Rainn Wilson. It's written by that dorky bloke from the TV series The Office and it's really good. Written very light-heartedly about topics such as life and death, love and sex, and science and religion.
