Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic Firmware v31.0.101 Released

It’s nice to see that this model, although rather old (by internet standards, anyway) is still getting periodic and rather regular updates. Here are some details on what this new firmware brings according to the release that I received:

This software release comes with an advanced e-mail application, an improved navigation experience, and several performance improvements. With Nokia Messaging, you can quickly set up and use your e-mail accounts using an application that is optimised for mobile e-mail. An enhanced version of Ovi Maps 3.0 is also included.

So, update your device today, either via the Nokia Software Updater (NSU) or firmware over the air (FOTA)!
