Casual Junior Member 472 posts Joined: Feb 2008	just to let u guys know, its useless to back up ur garmin software. everytime after mmc format, do a fresh installation of the garmin over again. i experienced once when i just copied and pasted back all the files 2 mmc, it still works but satellite signals go haywire, forever losing signal
