@nofear1979: try to use alternatives. there's some apps in the Net that are replacement for alarm. like me, i'm using Offscreen Technologies Ltd Nightstand 1.0.

it's not fingerprint. it's sound based actually. go to some warez sites and you will find this app, and how to use it. fingerprint is just a fake~

at least the uploader tells u dat it's fake :

QUOTE
FingerPrint Scanner for Nokia 5800 & Nokia N97!

Play a trick with your friend to unlock the phone with your fingerprint!

When the FingerPrint screen pops up, you need to touch your finger to the screen to be "scanned" for your identity, there will be vibration and beep sounds during the scan. Only under special conditions, the phone will be unlocked ;-)
haha

@boomerangkid : it is supported? well if so, i guess .gif would be the best answer loh. just use flash and save/export as .gif . that should be standard format across most of phones.

though this is yet in the tube, this is definitely worth wishing for should someone try and port it from iPhone to S60v5. it brings value to any phone which has this functionality.

Start Your Car From Your iPhone

user posted image

Remote starters are always a popular holiday gift in Northern climes, so particularly lazy shoppers will be heartened to learn one can be downloaded on iTunes.

The Viper SmartStart from Directed Electronics is an iPhone-compatible remote starter capable of warming up or cooling down a car.  Even if you’re not a fan of letting your car idle in a parking lot, Viper says the SmartStart could come in handy for remotely locking or unlocking the doors, popping the trunk or even sounding the car alarm.

Best of all, instead of pointing a squared-off keyfob at a car that’s parked a mere 30 feet away, you can start your car from anywhere provided there’s a cell phone signal.

“Our customers have consistently told us that the two most important features in a remote starter are range and user interface,” Directed Electronics president Kevin Duffy said in a statement. “We developed the Viper SmartStart in response. Range is virtually unlimited, and iPhone owners can use the elegant touch-screen interface they already carry in their pocket.”

The SmartStart can either be installed separately for $499 or mated to an existing remote starter for $299. There’s also an annual service charge, which tacks on an additional $29.99 a year. The system is also compatible with the iPod Touch, but its range is limited to within existing WiFi networks.

by the way,i found that 5800 dont have build in adobe reader and quick office.does nokia provide any official download for 5800.if nokia doesnt provide,u all have unofficial 1?

there is, but you have to buy it. be aware that this is not E series, instead XM or Xpress Music, where the focus in on just music playback (though specs doesn't seems to be perfect for an entertainment phone). So you wouldn't really expect Adobe Reader / Office , unlike it's sister N97, which is from N series : multimedia phone. ...

@trio : i don't think so. I've been in robocon before, plus for EE students, manual drilling veroboard + donutboard is normal de. so don't think zit one is hard enuff biggrin.gif

Added on October 16, 2009, 4:43 pm@aspire2006 : if u wore the condom-type epikcase, who cares. haha. it should cover the fadeness of ur back cover, plus giving extra safety points to the drilled hole should the tube jatuh (unless jatuh on a tip and the tip point is exactly at the camera, which is very low in probability)
