not sure is that the contributing factor.. coz i thought batteries nowadays are built with fail-safe protection.. meaning it won't overcharge but then just probably the heat of charging is not good for battery.. might get too hot... but not sure that problem exists too nowadays.. wink.gif
*
Speaking of batteries.. I've been observing my 1700mAh battery lately for the last few days.. the battery life is not bad.. blush.gif but i don't think extra 380mAh makes much difference than the original.. rolleyes.gif and one thing i am concern about is during calls.. more than 15 min or so the phone will start to get hotter and hotter and makes my heart melt to its desire.. tongue.gif oki seriously i think its the battery that makes the phone hot but so far everything still normal.. do note this also occurs to my original battery but not always la..

Overall.. my recommendation for this 1700mAh.. mmm.. hmm.gif i would say around 50%-60%.. not a total recommendation.. wink.gif

I use block method for keyunlock application.  Will it cause problem or not??  sweat.gif

Unlikely.. tapping on the other hand may be able to cause problem though as u have to be a bit rough by knocking your phone.. so causing some hardware problem makes sense.. hmm.gif

i use bluetooth via pcsuite. I think its easily to happen if use mass storage. Since i stop using mass storage after reformat. It never happen to me anymore.
*
No no.. what i meant is i prefer internal memory (mass memory) like n97 32GB or Innov8 16GB/8GB rather than using mmc coz mmc can easily spoil if compare to mass memory that is.. wink.gif

both got pros and cons lor.

Internal if entire phone crash all gone. If external u can just eject the memory card and plug it else where or swap it with another memory card
*
True.. but it seems mmc problem happens more frequently than phone.. and do note that if your format the phone the mass memory is still there intact and untouched.. at least thats what happened to my Innov8 before la IINM.. so no problem there.. besides.. we can always backup what..

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Oct 16 2009, 02:09 PM)
I also prefer mmc to internal memory... expandable wad..
*
Usually theres a mmc slot for phones with mass storage also what.. at least for Nokia's..

how slow can it be? U transfer 8GB of stuff everyday?

If slow also 1mb takes 15 -30 max.
*
Bro.. wanna ask.. if transfer file through bluetooth by using pc suite can we just transfer it like as in mass storage mode? U know.. where we can select many files and just drag and drop?? Coz i just use normal bluetooth transfer and if i have 15 files i have to do 15 file trasfers one at a time.. sweat.gif

camera quality can be increased to 100% if u know how to h4x it. Haven't really try it yet, but ppl say the quality is better since the original best quality was just about 75% from a perfect level biggrin.gif

plus : i use celcom postpaid + 3g data plan package.
*
By h4cking it and apply the patch, the picture quality will be slightly better only.. the patch has something to do with the compression.. so by reducing the compression.. picture quality will be better and so is the picture file size too.

QUOTE(trio @ Oct 16 2009, 03:36 PM)
Yea but i also saw somewhere that a guy suggested removing the plastic cover itself and the result is amazing!
*
Indeed this mod will cause a significant difference.. i tried myself and its amazing nod.gif

QUOTE(carbonytte @ Oct 16 2009, 03:37 PM)
@trio : if u remove the plastic cover, kacau warenti leh? and will it increase the probability of the camera rosak?
*
Just buy an AP back cover la bro.. i bought AP back cover and i just drill a hole at the plastic cover.. smile.gif

Yea it most prolly will kacau the warranty. But i wonder we can just attach and detach it easily or not. If can, then i think its not a prob XD Dun dare try though coz heard someone broke that plastic cover b4. Not to mention dust and etc reaching the inner lens after removing it.

They are saying that the cover was made from some not-so-good material that will afffect the light transmitting thru it. And just finished studying material engineering myself, i found that it makes absolute sense in that manner. Nid someone well versed in photography to shed light on this

@dxconvoy8
not only that. alot more noise. my k750 even sharper than it XD

I am using d campus. Hahha 1 cent per kb. Max at RM30 a month. Means its unlimited just for rm30 a month XD But its edge though. Very slow lol. Good enuff for some msn-ing and email checking.
*
U cant just detach it as the plastic cover and the LED cover is one piece.. so if you remove the plastic cover the LED will cause the picture to be overexpose or something.. and if you just drill a hole where the lens is located.. the dust won't go in IINM as there's a pad around the lens area.. wink.gif

@aishiteru_suki : nice solution. u use auto drill or just the old kemahiran hidup manual drill? what size ?
*
automatic hand drill.. cool2.gif drill bits 4.8mm in diameter.. i borrowed from my campus manufacturing lab tongue.gif you ought to have a steady hand though.. i did not hold properly and it scratches my plastic cover a bit.. and make sure you clamp the back cover properly as well.. ow well.. do it at your own risk.. whistling.gif

p/s: the plastic cover is a bit tough.. so may takes few seconds to make a hole out of it.. rolleyes.gif

IINM its 4.8mm.. or maybe 4.5.. not sure.. i used vernier calipper to measure the hole dimension first.. around 5mm.. so consider la the tolerance wink.gif

omg 49~ so expensive. is the quality between two of these very different?

I would say.. not bad for a AP back cover.. the color is blue some more.. 1 difference i noticed is that the LED cover design is a bit difference then the original one.. no idea though on how will it affect the LED light exposure..
